Kalimotxo is East Austin's Spanish restaurant and cocktail bar — the kind of place you come for pintxos and end up staying for the second bottle of Rioja.
We celebrate the full, glorious range of Spanish food culture: Basque-style pintxos loaded with uni and jamón, tapas rooted in Andalusia, and large plates built around Texas ingredients and Spanish technique. The bar runs on fortified wines , sherry, vermouth, and the occasional margarita made better by both. Pass the porrón. Order the cured meats. Come back Thursday.
